2011 Year in Review!!
Welcome to my very awesome amazing recap of the year 2011. If you are reading this it means that you care about all the events that took place in my life during the 2011 year, you have been tagged in this note as a part of my year in 2011 or you don't really care and you are just bored at work and have nothing better to do. Either way welcome to the recap and I hope you enjoy :)
January 2011
This year started the way most of my new years start, rehearsing for a play with The Stolen Chair Theatre Company :) I was cast in "Stage Kiss" and will be playing dual roles, Neptune God of the Sea and Veneria a boisterous mother. Now as the result of me having to be on stage in a speedo, I figured it would be good to join a gym, The NYSC to be exact. Big change happened as my main man Carl made the decision to move back to Wisconsin after we lived together in NYC for the past 9.5 years. As a last Hurray I threw a surprise going away party for him in which several people came over to the apartment to watch the Badgers lose to TCU in the Rose Bowl. Carl's Dad and brother came a few days later to help pack him up and move him back home to WI. It was pretty tough watching the rental truck drive away with my best friend after so long. I also had to attend my first tour of Jury Duty. Thankfully I spent one entire day here and was not chosen for the Jury, but my Duty was completed for the next 4 years. Stage Kiss opened at the end of the month at The Wings Theater :)

As every year past the Superbowl party was held at my apartment, and ironically the GREEN BAY PACKERS were in the game and Carl was no longer around. Figures. I went all out decorating my apartment for the event with the help of Victoria and Mark. I was joined by good friends Shawn, Clark, Rob, Evie, Mark and Victoria. Packers Become Superbowl Champions!! I continue to perform in "Stage Kiss" and the Show gets a 4 Star Review in Time Out New York :) I also am mentioned in a different review and my performance is compared to Ryan Phillipe in Cruel Intentions. Stolen Chair throws a Victorian themed Valentines party for the upcoming original work entitled "Cut Paste Corset Perfect" I end off this month by going to Best Buy Theater to see Motorhead in VIP with Popo, Mario and Mark.

"Stage Kiss" closes early this month, but not before my AWESOMELY amazing friends Andrea and Josh catch a flight in from Atlanta to check it out :) I finally get to go and experience my first ever Supermajor event, which was super fun with Patrice, Sarah and Justin. This month I take a little change in work and start covering far away lands of Bronx and Westchester, So NOT FUN!! St Pattys Day was a little weird as my St Pattys Day buddies, Carl and Tiffany are both back in Wisconsin. Instead Barber and I hang out and while walking down the street discover the best ass and face combo ever seen in the history of the world haha. Workshops continue for "Cut Paste Corset Perfect"

Well I ring in my 29th Birthday with a Karaoke Party followed by a Mechanical Bullride. Both of which were Epic Good times :) I mean singing Creed with Dylan? Or Clyde's first ever Karaoke? Mark getting a Police escort back to Yonkers and missing the fun? So many people so much fun :) Shortly after I get to go celebrate Jon's birthday with a trip to a super fancy brunch and then some indoor rock climbing and finally some scotch tasting :) I am forced to search for a replacement roommate this month, EPIC FAIL! I go to Robs Birthday shindig in Williamsburg. April is Birthday month. I do my first ever Voice Over/Radio work for an NYU Student Project. Sound proof rooms are cool :) The month Finishes up with VIP to Twisted Sister with Popo, Mario and James.

This month starts with the roommate search still continuing as I begin to have problems affording the apartment on my own. About midway through the month I have to go to a training for work in Baltimore. Was fun to spend a few days in B-More and got to go to an Orioles game with Chasse, which was against the Yankees and went on until just after midnight, it was 15 innings!!! My flight back from B-More got cancelled due to weather and had to switch around to get back to NYC just so I could catch a flight the very next day to Wisconsin to come home and surprise Tia for her last spring concert. I hid in her closet and scared her, it was pretty funny. While I was home I headed down to Chicago with Blaine and Andy to catch a White Sox game, then got caught in Tornadoes on the way back. Freaking Crazy!! Once I returned to NYC I did the live reading of "Cut, Paste, Corset, Perfect" with stolen chair. I was a butler, a turtle and a monkey :)

This month I go right back to Wisconsin this time to see Tia graduate from High School!! Hooray the last of the Siblings to graduate High School, I'm not old at all I swear :( This time while home My Dad, Carl and I take a quick road trip to Minneapolis for a Twins game. Which makes the 3rd ballpark of the year :) Good times. Had some fun at Tia and Laurens Graduation Party. Back in NY I go to check out Stolen Chairs re-production of Commedia which was awesome!! Rest of the month was just work as usual and still stressing and running out of money having not yet found a roommate.

Month starts out good as I get a roommate moved in FINALLY. Try to break the ice and get to know him but its pretty clear this is only a "I just pay to sleep here" type of situation. Oh well at least its money to pay the rent. I get really excited that the USA Women's Soccer team makes it into the World Cup finals vs Japan and go hang out with Mari and Co to watch the game with some epic hardcore soccer hooligans. Damn you Sawa!!! I do some background work for an Indy film with the actress who played "My Girl" I catch a flight at the end of the month to go to St Louis to meet up with Shawn to see Garry's Band Tastes like Chicken. While in St Louis, Shawn, Mike, Cathy and I catch a Cards/Cubs game which makes my 4th Ballpark of the year!! The Concert was fun, as I was carted back to the hotel in the trunk of the SUV.

The first of the month I board a plane from St Louis back to NYC after an amazingly awesome, loud and drunken weekend. Once returned I audition for Brazilian Director Michele Melamed :) Which will come back into play a little later. I get all dressed up to go to Mike and Emily's wedding in Dumbo. Was gorgeous and SOOO much fun :) I am then invited to be a part of the Documentary and production of a show by Michele :) I also book another acting gig in a show in which i had to eat a pickle on stage (GROSS) and we will leave it at that. This was the month of the Earthquake (which I didn't even feel) followed shortly by Hurricane Irene, which was way overrated, at least in my area. I had to say goodbye to my super friend/employee Mari who left for Philly and grad school. Barcade was fun though. I volunteer to help remodel the Wings Theater into the new Ohio West Theater. During which i split my head open by leaving a wrench on top of a ladder and then moving the ladder, Lesson Learned.

This month I am officially cast as part of "Seewatchlook" and work on this original idea/production with some awesome freaking people, Far to many to name. Football returns, its a big deal to me ok, especially when the Green Bay Packers are the Defending Superbowl Champs. I also get an email from Ray and get brought on board to do stunts for a little project called Siren. During the training and filming of Siren I met some of the most wonderful new people I have come to know :) (Dina, Hannah, Calvin, Theik, Liz and the list goes on and on) I shoot Siren the same day as I perform in "The Philosophers" and run back and forth between performing on stage and on screen quite literally. "Seewatchlook" officially begins performing at the end of the month.

This month the Brewers make it to the Post Season for only the second time in my lifetime, so that was super awesome. I begin working with those amazing people from Siren, as Theik heads up our own little clash of talent know as "Fight Lab" Most of my time this month is spent Performing "Seewatchlook" at the Highline which at the end of the month results in me having my picture in the NEW YORK TIMES!!! Was super freaking awesome even though they only referred to me as "an actor" instead of using my name. Oh well. "Seewatchlook" officially wraps production :( Broke out a super freaking AWESOME Gambit costume for Halloween and hung out with the Clark and Rob clan. I end the month with a Halloween concert by "Tastes Like Chicken" and another epic drunken evening with Shawn, Mike and Cathy.

This month I continue to train with the Awesome folks at Fight Lab. I board a plane and make my way to South Carolina to attend my cousin Danny's wedding. Not only did I attend but I was the officiating Minister of the wedding. It was absolutely beautiful even though it was very cold :) Had a wonderful time eating, drinking and having fun with the family :) Once i Return from South Carolina I go to my First ever red carpet event. I invite my mom who comes to stay with me for the weekend and come to the event with me. Great time was had by all at the event and the bar hopping that followed it. For Thanksgiving I have an International feast and was joined by the beautiful and talented ladies Isabelle and Tjasa. We had a great time up until I had to make them leave so I could go to work :(

This month Fight Lab turns into CKT or Contact Kick Therapy, our fight/stunt team for hire!!! I finally go see Blue Man Group with Hannah, which was quite hilarious. Went up to CT with the Stolen Chair Crew to clean a basement and drink tasty drinks by the fire :) Go to a simply spectacular Holiday Party at Dina's place dressed in an Elf Hat and Santa socks and spent most of the night sitting under the tree. Who wouldn't want me as a present?? Then finally boarded a plane back to my home state of Wisconsin to be with the family for the holidays. Went to Packers/Bears at Lambeau Field with my sister Tia, was SOOOOO much fun!!! Just hung out at home with family and friends :)
