2025 Year in Review!!!

Welcome one and all to another installment of my (Noah's) year in review.  Its been a Quarter Century now since I graduated High School so that makes me feel all kind of ways.  Anyways lets go with 2025

January- I ring in the new year hanging out with my favorite boy Marzen!  I go for a run and start the new year!! I go to Muay Thai and work at the Brewery, so nothing really new for me, simply a continuation.  My friend Chris from Atlanta comes up to stay in my guest room for a while to kick off the new year as well.  In the first week of the new year I get some kind of stomach bug which was pretty awful for a couple days.  Fun!  haha.  I sign up and go out on a Timeleft Dinner with Strangers to Lemongrass.  It was a neat experience as 6 total people meet up at the restaurant and are assigned a table, 3 guys and 3 gals.  We all meet each other and chat while having dinner.  It was great fun and afterward we all went to a local bar, The Brooklyn Inn, as arranged by the app.  It was definitely a fun way to meet new people and be sociable to mix up my routine a bit. Next I pickup Trevor from Five Boroughs as we head to Wild East to harvest some yeast for a brew.  The next day I head over to Brooklyn Zoo for a training session with LaurenGeronimo was also there and was teaching us some trampoline skills.  After training I head to the Brewery to help Trevor brew an Irish Stout and get more experience on the brew stand. Aaron stops by my apartment to drop off some pads for a job and hang for a bit.  The next day I jump in my car and head out to LIC to help out stunt coordinating a small project.  Always fun to get involved making things look good.  I head out to The Wood Shop in Brooklyn and meet up with Benjamin and Stephanie for a concert by Platinum Moon.  The opening band was meh but I was very impressed with Platinum Moon and how crisp and clean they were.  After the show Benjamin, Stephanie and I go to the Anchored Inn for a beer and a quick hang before calling it a night.  Ending this month I signed up and registered for a Tony Robbins virtual seminar, Time to Rise Summit 2025.  It was 3 days of quite extraordinary insight on many different facets of life and I thought it was really great.  Month 1 of 2025 in the books.

February-  Starts with the last day of the Tony Robbins seminar and what a seminar it was.  I got so much valuable information about so many things that I would totally recommend it to anyone.  I jump in the car and drive up to the Newburgh area and check into my hotel as I have some work to do.  I meet up with Jake at Draught Industries for some dinner and drinks and a catch up.  Love this man!  The next day I head out to work and meet up with Corey and the crew, a lot of whom were on "Dead Guy" in 2023, to do a little stunt work.  I get to double a child actor who hangs himself in a church, uplifting I know, on a project called "These Little Ones Perish."  I had to get up on a 2nd floor railing and slide off.  The gag went well and everyone was happy.  I head out to Barcade for the wrap party of the project I helped on last month.  Was fun to mingle and get to know the crew better and just have a fun night playing games and hanging out.  Unfortunately I learn of the passing of a good friend of mine from High School, Nick Weber.  We had lost touch throughout the years but reconnected for my 40th in Milwaukee and even played fantasy football last year.  He was the sweetest guy and will be missed.  All my love to his family and close friends.  Next up I go with Chris to Eastville Comedy Club to watch him and his class do stand up.  He was great and there were some solid people so that was enjoyable.  I head out and pickup a new electric piano that I bought off of FB Marketplace as I've always wanted to learn how so thought I might just teach myself how.  Its a used Yamaha P-71!  I get an app called "Simply Piano" and thus begins an app teaching me how to play haha.  I go into the city and take a class at the SAG/AFTRA offices on screen writing, can you tell that work is slow yet.  The class was informative so lets try screen writing too.  So now I'm doing Muay Thai, learning Piano and screen writing haha.  I meet up with Trevor, Kevin and Cam at DBA in the city to help support Five Boroughs in the "Crown of New York" brewery competition.  Basically the bar will put on 2 kegs from 2 different New York breweries.  Which ever sells the most (or kicks first) in certain amount of time on a certain night is declared the winner and moves on the to the next round.  Its basically a bracket style tournament with local breweries put on by this bar.  We actually kicked our keg before time was up and beat Return Brewery in the first round!!  (update, we lost in the second round to Catskill Brewery but I wasn't there for round 2 whenever that happened, Round Table Brewery took the Crown in the end)  Next up is Opening Bash at Industry City to kick off Beer Week!!  I pick up Trevor and our kegs at Five Boroughs before heading over and setting up our table with Cam.  This is always a fun event with local breweries all bringing their beer to pour for ticketed guests.  This year we had distilleries and other local things as well which was cool.  Trevor, Kevin and I grab dinner at Zona Sur after the event before calling it a day.  Next I meet the Five Boroughs crew at Mysstic Escape rooms for an employee night.  We did their Montauk Project room and we made it!!  It was super fun!!  Afterwards we had picked up some food and went to Wild East Brewing to close out the night.  I head over to Corey's place in Queens to do a little acting and minor stunt in a short he wrote!  Was such a blast working with Corey, Jenna, Evan, Jamie, Neimah and the others I met doing a fun project.  To conclude the month I fly back home to Wisconsin to attend Nick's Celebration of Life.

March- This month begins in Wisconsin and a quick lunch with my parents and Uncle Mark at Hop Haus Brewing Co.  The next day its off to Milwaukee and Black Husky Brewing to Celebrate the life of my friend Nick Weber.  It was so nice to see people I haven't seen in ages but wish it was under much better circumstances.  Most of the old High School gang was in attendance, Carl, Andy, Sarah, Jason, Tim, Josh and myself came together to celebrate a good and wonderful man.  My heart goes out to his parents and his sisters whom I love dearly and were a big part of my life growing up.  I love Nick and will miss him dearly but am so thankful we reconnected not that long ago. Back to NYC I go to get back into my routine only to learn that my favorite bar The Lock Yard will be closing.  I spend all weekend at my favorite spot, Trevor joined me one of the days, as did Aaron on another as we toasted the bar and the wonderful owners and staff.  Thanks for the Memories Lock Yard.  I head into the city and meet up with Benjamin for a movie, We're All Gonna Die, at LOOK Cinemas.  We were the only ones there which was kind of sad as going to the movies has been slowly dying.  It was a good time hanging and catching up with a good friend and the movie was a fun watch. Chelsea comes down as we head to Wicked Monk for some lunch before we are off to Coney Island to take in a Brooklyn FC Women's Soccer match!!  It was chilly but oh so much fun!!!   The match ended in a 1-1 Draw.  I head out to Seventh Circle for some fun training with the crew on St. Paddys Day this year.  Mecca, Aaron, Alexa, Hannah and I all go out to Thatcher McGee's afterwards for some food and some drinks before we all head home.   I love all these humans so much.  Back to my routine of training Muay Thai and working at the brewery.  I meet up with Wallack for a nice walk around the neighborhood. I go back out to Coney Island, this time a solo venture to watch another Brooklyn FC Match.  It was rainy and very cold and I did not dress appropriately haha and they lost 3-0.  Oh well.  To round out the month I head into the city to tryout for the SAG/AFTRA Softball team.  While the tryout itself was pretty fun it seemed to be very set on its team.  They were only looking for like 1 or 2 players to fill a need, which really sucks.  I felt bad for a lot of the people who showed up especially the women as they neglected to mention in the advertising for the tryouts that this was a Men's only league.  It was fun to see Rob there though.  End March!

April-  Its April and its time to visit the DMV to get my real ID, how fun is that!  Next I go to another of those Dinner with Strangers things this time at Mango Bay.  The food was pretty good but I think way over priced for what it was.  This time around the company was less than stellar as there was an older gentleman at our table who insisted on only chatting with one of the women he had his eye on and then getting into a whole political debate.  It was a very unfortunate night for sure and just awful.  I did my best to make the best of it but yeah.  Didn't really do anything for my birthday except work at the brewery haha.  Another Dr. appointment and this time around my resting heart rate is so low that I get strapped up for a 24 hour heart monitor to make sure its not dropping to dangerous levels when I sleep.  That was fun, but I guess all good? haha.  I head into the city to Momoya to meet up with Dana to celebrate her Birthday!!  Aaron, Taylor, Bryce, Nick and a few others joined us for dinner.  After dinner we walked to Pioneers Bar for some more drinks and fun as others joined us there as well like Tonya and other Nick's haha.  Such a fun night. Have some fun training with the crew at Argus for some upcoming project concepts, always a wonderful time doing that.  Thanks to Stephanie for including me and Elvis for punching me across the room haha.  Next to the city I go and head to Vanderbilt Market where Lauren meets me for some food before we walk over to Radio City Music Hall to see Aziz Ansari!!!  This was my first huge stand up tour experience and it did not disappoint.  Lauren and I laughed our asses off all night!!!  Bravo!  Next is a trip to Coney Island for another Brooklyn FC Match with Aaron, Lauren and Acei!!  The match finished in a 1-1 Draw!  After the Match we all walked around the amusement park and rode the Wonder Wheel and the bumper cars before calling it a night.  The next day its off to the airport bright and early to fly out to LA for work.  I head to LA Center Studios for work on Fallout to finish out season 2.  Such a great time on this show and working with amazing people and with Moises who is a damn legend!  After work I spend the night with Chris, Bethany and Evie before I fly right back home to NYC.  Back in NYC I go to The American Dream Mall and meet up with Mecca, Shannon, Aaron, Alex, Hannah, Alexa, Christine, Jared and Lauren MK for dinner at Carppacio.  After dinner its off to do some escape rooms at The Escape Game!!  We escaped from both The Heist and The Playground!!  So much fun!!  More Escape Room at Mission Escape Games for fun as I meet up with Lauren MK and Jenel in the city for a quick 3 person escape from "End of Days" before we are joined by Bryce, Taylor and Jared for another escape from "The Hydeout."  Both fun, both successful! After escaping we head over to Arlo Midtown for some drinks and snacks before calling it a night.  I head over to Benjamin's place for a quick alley way grill out as he will be heading out of town for a bit. Good to see him and Tu-an, Koji and Stephanie and eat some meats. To close out the month its stunt work on a new show "The Chair Company" thanks to Drew for the hire and fun with Frank on the set.  Tim Robinson is a beast!

May-  This month begins with another day on "The Chair Company"  the actor wasn't feeling well so I was there to fill in.  Always a pleasure to be on set as it is my happy place.  I head to the airport and fly cross country over to LA for the upcoming Taurus World Stunt Awards.  Upon arrival I grab my rental and check in to my hotel in downtown LA, Hotel Figueroa!  It was quite the hotel and very historic.  Once settled I go out for a walk to a local brewery for a couple beers at Audio Graph Beer Co.  Pretty good beer and vibes.  Next up its time to escape as I meet up with Lauren MK and a few others for some LA Escaping at PanIQ Escape Rooms.  We did 2 different ones and they were really cool.  First was a Wizard Theme and second was a Zombie theme, we escaped both!!  Always a blast and so much fun meeting new people.  As we left however we heard a thunderous sound as there was a car crash right outside as we were leaving.  Thankfully no one was hurt, nor was my rental car hit as it was right there, phew.  Scary times.  The next day, after breakfast at the hotel, I meet up with Dina for some coffee and a catch up with her, always a pleasure to see her.  Afterward I stopped by to see the Stunt Softball tournament for a brief moment, but didn't stay long as it was cray hot and I really didn't recognize many people.  Back to the hotel to shower and change into my finest as Jacqueline meets me at the hotel bar as she will be my plus one.  We both looked stunning, her in hot pink and my self in blue and neon green, gotta love the neon!  We jump in a car and head over to Wishire Ebell Theatre for the party.  Of course, had no idea what the theme was per usual as it was denim, oh well haha!!  We had a blast and ran into so many people!!  It was very nice to see a bunch of NYC in the house, Stephanie, Peter, Chelsea and Erin (who were nominated), Natalie and Matthew.  I spent so much time chit chatting with so many people that I didn't really do any dancing or eating haha.  The night flew by and then continued over at another local bar until we closed it down.  What a great night and thank you to Jacqueline for being an amazing and super fun plus 1!! The next morning I check out of my hotel and head over to see Chris and BethanyChris and I grab a beer and lunch at Pocock Brewing as has kind of become a tradition haha.  The next day its back to the airport and right back to NYC.  Thanks LA, see ya next year, if not sooner.  Back in NYC and filled with the excitement of the New York Knicks in the playoffs I meet up with Trevor at Westbury Inn to watch the game with the locals as they pulled off the victory and advanced to the next round.  Next its off to Staten Island for a Memorial Day hosted by Dana!  Was a wonderful time filled with wonderful people hanging out, Bryce and Taylor, Nick, Acei, Jamie and a few others were all in attendance.  Thanks for hosting Dana!!  I head back to Staten Island to meet up with Aaron and Dana as we do some location scouting for a short film I wrote.  And thus concludes the month of May!

June-  This month starts with a brand new activity as I figured I would try out the crazed Pickleball.  I joined a league by Silly Pickles where all the games will be played at PKLYN in Gowanus for the next 6 weeks.  Of course I dove for a ball and ripped open my hand in my first game, womp womp.  It was fine just a bit bloody haha.  Overall great time and a fun sport once you get the hang of it. I go to the local public courts to improve my skills and meet some of the local players.  I head over to Jersey City and meet up with Aaron as we check out Wurstbar!  They even had Wisconsin cheese curds!!!  We wandered around afterward and caught up.  Next up its out to Seventh Circle for an open audition for the new Punisher series.  Was actually one of the better run auditions I've been to in regards to stunts.  They had us all learn a brief fight scene, perform that and then perform different reactions.  Was more fun to see all the friends there though.  More pickleball and muay thai this month and lots of both.  I head out to PLG to take care of Trevor's cat whilst he is away a few days this month.  Next I journey up state to go hang out with Jake and Alex for the weekend.  We go to dinner at Roscoe Mountain Club, which was delicious, thanks Evan! After dinner we hang out at Catskills Brewery and then Sunshine Colony for some drinks.  The next day its the infamous Trout Parade!!  We all gather for some morning coffee before we head over to Sunshine Colony to watch the parade go by.  Afterwards was just enjoying the day!!  That night we all went to a local house party that had a stage and a live band in their backyard!!  Was so much fun!  What a great weekend and then back to Brooklyn for Pickleball.  Next up its time to work on the new series "Crystal Lake" where I will be the double for THE Jason Voorhees and get to recreate the drowning sequence.  Back and forth I go to NJ for this as we had a rehearsal and then the shoot day.  Had to add a couple days as we didn't get to the scene and then the water tested bad.  Finally I get to drown and still pinching myself that I got to recreate such an iconic scene and portray an iconic character.  Definitely didn't have that one on my career bingo card. Thank you so much to Tracey for having me on. Jake comes down for work and we grab some beers at Wild East before I have to go play Pickleball. He comes out to watch and drink some more, thanks buddy!  Thus ends June!

July-  Begins with a trip out to Citi Field to watch the Brewers and The Mets.  The first game was cancelled due to weather so Evan, Marissa, Joanne and I went to a double header!!  (That's 2 games in one day for those of you who are not sports people)  The Brewers won the first game 7-2 and lost the second game 3-7.  The very next day its back to Citi Field, this time with Lauren and Aaron for the 3rd game and The Mets Won 3-2, oh well!  Was so much fun regardless.  Aaron even stayed awake for the entire game, including the fireworks after!! I head out to Meccas for the 4th of July Weekend for a pool party and grill out.  Always a blast with all these wonderful humans.  Lots and lots of friends were there to hang, eat and play cornhole!  I meet up with Joanne in the city at Oscar Wilde's for some dinner.  What a wonderfully weird place!  After dinner we walk over to Madison Square Garden to see Weird Al in Concert!  Puddles Pity Party was the opening act.  Both were amazing and incredible and I cant say enough awesome things about the shows!  Kevin is in town and stays with me in the guest room for a bit.  Amazing to see this awesome dude!  I head to Argus for some previz training with Berto and the Stuntworks Team, always a wonderful time.  Kevin and I head into the city and meet up with Josh at Circus Academy for some Trapeze.  Was so much fun learning this and Hal is the best instructor ever!  After flying we head to Argus for a movie night watching "Mask of Zorro."  Lots of stunt friends and peers there and such a great night!! I head out to NJ and a new brewery called Pallet Brewing Company and meet up with Devin, Michael and Dana for some beer drinking fun.  What a lovely day to see and hang with these humans! Another July is in the books

August-  To start the month Lauren comes down to visit, meet my cat, and then we head out to take in a Brooklyn Cyclones game!!  It was Irish Night and it was the most amount of people I have seen at a Cyclones game.  Was a lot of fun even though the Cyclones lost 4-1.  Lauren stays the night and in the morning we grab breakfast at Milk and Honey before she heads out.  So much fun.  Its been a while since we did this.  I pick up Evan early morning to head to LaGuardia to fly home for my 25th High School Reunion. Thanks for sitting for my car and cat Evan!!  I wind up sitting at the airport from 5am until my flight leaves at 2:30 pm  due to the plane having an issue, it was supposed to leave at 5:45am.  Finally arrive in Chicago and jump on the bus and finally get home to some nice ribs for dinner, yum.  I also get to see progress on their new house as its coming along nicely, still weird though haha.  Next up I go to Lucy's Hideaway for my reunion.  As soon as I arrive Nick T and Jacob M were there followed  by Vicki!  Was so cool to catch up with them.  Carl was there as well so I hung with him but also got see to see Jenni and Bobby, Andy M, Matt, Heather, Sarah G, Beth, Michelle, Jessi, John, Dan and just so good to see everyone that showed up.  Mom, Blaine and I head out to Duesterbecks for some food and beers and watch a local band perform.  Unfortunately our trip to the State Fair was thwarted by rain and flooding which closed it down, oh well.  Draft House, Junction Pub and one more trip to Duesterbecks for their Trivia night (we got 4th) before its back to the airport.  This time I was at the Chicago airport from 10:30 am until the plane took off at 7:30pm, this was due to weather in NYC.  Ugh, I made it back though haha.  I go out to grab a coffee at Coffee RX and meet up with a local gal named Emily, was a lovely time.  I head to Nobodys Perfect for Drew's 30th Birthday Party, which has turned into an engagement party as he proposed to his long time girlfriend that morning!  HAPPY 30TH and CONGRATS to Drew!!!!  Was so fun as there were lots of friends there!!  (Ben and Elise, Mecca and Shannon, Aaron and Alex, Hannah and Eric, Justin and Lydia, Mam, Josh, Luke, Alex H, David, I think I got you all, hopefully)  The following morning I head to Argus and take a workshop with Terry Notary for creature movement.  Mostly focused on apelike movements with arm extenders, was a lot of fun!!  Right after I meet up with Lauren MK as we do a quick escape room, Gold Rush at The Escape Game, before she flys back to LA.  We crushed it!!! Next I head out to The Gutter in LIC to sub for Evan in the Bowling League!  Adam, John and Brian were the other team members.  I rolled a 126, 116 and a 195.  Was good to be back as I haven't been there for a couple years.  Time for another birthday as I meet up with Evan and Marissa at Backyard Bar in Brooklyn for Marissa's Birthday!  Mark and other friends came out to hang as well for a bit before we made our way to Skinny Dennis!! The next day I pick up my sister Tia from the airport and then head straight to South Street Seaport to wander around before we have dinner and cocktails at Dead RabbitAaron joins us for dinner.  This is Tia's first visit to NYC in over a decade!!!!  Day 2 and Tia and I grab breakfast at Pegasus and then make our way to Muay Thai as she joins me for a class haha.  Afterwards we walked around Sunset Park and then took the extra long walk to Greenwood Cemetery which was quite the trek, my bad haha.  I bring Tia to Strong Rope Brewery in Red Hook after our walk and then we grab dinner at Red Hook Lobster Pound to close out the day.  Day 3 with Tia and we grab breakfast at The Common to start the day.  Next we head over to Coney Island and do all the typical things!  We walked the boardwalk, grabbed a beer at Ruby's, rode The Cyclone, rode The Wonder Wheel, explored the NYC Aquarium and then grabbed a beer and played cornhole (sort of) at The Sandbar (not nearly as good as Coney Island Brewery, just saying) before heading in to a Brooklyn Cyclones game!  It was a very long game but somehow the Cyclones WON the game, down by 2 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and hit a game winning 3 run walk off home run.  That was crazy!!!!  Day 4 with Tia and we grab breakfast again at The Common.  We head into NJ and park at The American Dream and then grab a beer before doing an escape room, which we escaped, even though our group was quite annoying haha.  We then grabbed dinner and and drinks and made our way over to Metlife Stadium for the System of a Down/Korn Concert!!!!!  What an EPIC concert it was as well!!  We had sooooo much fun!!!!  I bring Tia to the airport the following day and send her back to California to open her new business!  Was so much fun having her here and was so long over do!!!  Love you Tia!!!  And thus concludes the month of August!!

September-  Starts with more Pickleball at the local public courts playing with the locals.  I also start another 6 weeks of Pickleball at PKLYN with Silly Pickles.  Next I head to the airport to pick up my parents as they are in town for the weekend to go see The Savanah Bananas at Yankee Stadium and also celebrate their wedding anniversary.  Once I gather the parentals its right to Five Boroughs to work my shift.  My parents hung out at the brewery all night hanging out, doing a puzzle, drinking beers and watching the Packer Game.  Breakfast at Pegasus follows the long night at the Brewery and then my parents hang out at the house while I for to my first Trapeze Class, at Circus Academy in Brooklyn, of the Fall Semester.  I signed up for a whole semester of learning this skill so I'll be doing that every Friday until December.  Back home and its time for dinner at The Corner in Bay Ridge for my parents Anniversary.  The food was delicious!!  After dinner we get a couple drinks at Delia's before we call it a night.  The next morning its breakfast at The Common before we load up and drive up to Jenna's apartment to meet up with everyone for the Banana's game.  Jenna is walking distance from Yankee Stadium so slowly but surely everyone met up at Jenna's and was met with a pleasant surprise as Jenna is 8 months pregnant!!  Was so funny watching everyone's reaction as they came in.  Jake, Hannah, Lauren, Alexa, and Dan all arrive as we head out to the pregame festivities before the game.  We watched the stage fun and hung out and then decided to get into the Stadium as soon as they opened and on our way the parade of the owner and all the players went right by us.  Was so cool to see all the players and so much fun. Once inside we grab drinks and watch all the fun happening.  Joanne meets us inside before we all take our seats and enjoy the bonkers amount of fun.  I could go on and on about how much fun it was but I think you should all try to get tickets and go for yourselves.  What an amazing experience and such a great day with wonderful friends and family.  Recovery day is next as I cook a scramble for the parents and I as we lay low in the apartment until I have to go play Pickleball at PKLYN.  The parents hang at the bar while I play my matches and afterward we head over to Strong Rope Brewery for some beers on the water.  We grab dinner at Brooklyn Roots to call it a trip and get more than enough food to go around.  The next morning its back to the airport.  Thanks so much for a wonderful trip to my parents!!  I meet up with Jamie and Nick to do some audio replacement at Jamie's Apartment, always a fun time with these guys.  The rest of this month was pretty much just routine, Muay Thai regularly, Brewery on Thursday, Trapeze on Friday and Pickleball on Sunday.

October-  Next up I hop in the car and drive up to stay with Jake and Alex for the weekend as Jake will be hosting the Oktoberfest at Catskills Brewery.  Upon arrival Alex had made some soup for us as we hung out and watched some TV and got to meet their new cat Clover.  The next day we grab some coffee with the locals and then head over to Do Good Spirits after we drop off Jake at the Brewery to prep.  A pleasant surprise as we arrived at the Brewery for the Festivities and Jenna and Dan were there as well.  We had no idea they were coming what an amazing and awesome surprise!!!  Dan and I both competed in the stein holding and made it to the Final 4, I got 4th and Dan got 3rd.  Not too shabby.  We spent all day at the Brewery and just had a chill night back at the house afterward.  Such a good time.  The next morning Jake, Alex and I grabbed some breakfast at Cafe 43 and then some coffee at The Walk In before I get back on the road to head home to play Pickleball.  Such a wonderful weekend!!  I head into the city to meet up with Jamie for a movie at Alamo Drafthouse but unfortunately Jamie got stuck in a production meeting and couldn't make it.  Since I was already there I treated myself to One Battle After Another.  It was ok, not as great as everyone has been making it out to be in my opinion, it was simply fine.    Back into the city I go this time to Midtown and Talea Brewing for the Engagement Party of Drew and Kara.  These two are amazing and was so fun to celebrate with them.  Also saw tons of friends there like Luke, Tony, Hannah, Mecca, Ben, the list goes on and on.  After the party Aaron, Alex and I walked over to K-town to grab a quick bite before calling it a day.  I head over to Peter's place to help him film a concept for an upcoming project.  Was fun to get the creative juices flowing and just play around with some ideas.  Was good to see him and hang for a bit.  I pack up my cat Marzen and bring him to the vet for his yearly check up to make sure he is all good.  I also got him microchipped finally haha.  Vet said he needs to lose weight, so diet time for the big boy.  I head to Prospect Park to participate in the No Kings Rally.  Was a good time filled with very colorful and creative people.  Was also a lovely day for a stroll while making our voices heard.  That night I stopped by Kitty's for a couple beverages and to see Robbie.  Lets see I have a Dr.'s appointment, I do some laundry, I take a day and walk down to Bay Ridge Alpine Theater to see "Roofman."  Loved this movie but it was kind of sad and made me feel all kinds of ways. Finally some work as I head to Greenpoint for a fitting for work on CIA. I cast my vote early, GO KAYLA!!  Then its off to the city for work on CIA for Ian with Nnamdi, Airon, Drew, Brandon, Molly, Sam and Cindy.  Easy fun day as Drew almost clips me on a bike.  Lastly for Halloween I dig out my old "Wild Thing Rick Vaughn" costume and wear it to Trapeze class.  Afterwards I meet up with Aaron at Strong Rope Brewing for some beers and live music.  Was pretty ill attended so we went to Kitty's to end the night.  Good Times and Good Month haha

November-  I head over to Kitty Kiernans to meet up with Danielle and Jeannie to watch Brooklyn FC play their away match.  Good times, match ended in a 1-1 draw.  Another round of Pickleball at PKLYN before I head over to Argus for another movie night.  This time its to watch "The Waterboy."  Was so good to see so many fun and amazing peers and friends there as always and even meet some new ones.  I love these movie nights. I head up to Gowanus for a super top secret underground Pickleball club where a net is set up in a photo studio.  Julie is the mastermind behind this to find places to play inside for cheaper than the others.  It was a little smaller than regulation but still had fun playing and meeting new people. Thanks Julie.  I meet up with Aaron at Xanadu for some roller skating fun.  It has been forever since I have been on quad roller skates so I took the introduction class to get used to them again.  I was much more comfortable on them by the end of the class and Aaron and I skated around for a bit after.  Was a good time. After the usual Thursday Brewery shift and Friday Trapeze class it was off to the airport to fly home for Thanksgiving.  Once home I took a trip with Blaine out to Sorgs to pick up some meats and then had lunch at Junction Pub, always a classic spot.  Next I pick up Mom from work and its off to Madison to pick up some lobster tails for Christmas and we make a quick stop at Young Blood Brewery to pick up some to go beers.  Always down to support local breweries and you should too!!  A dinner at Drafthouse with the parents and then its time for Thanksgiving.  This year Lisa is hosting due to the fact that the house is pretty barren as my parents are selling and building.  Was a little odd being somewhere else for Thanksgiving but still had a blast with the fam.  Lisa, Chris and Cameron were all wonderful hosts!  We also got to watch The Packers beat the Lions on Thanksgiving Day!!  Woohoo!!!  Black Friday and its back to the airport to fly back to NYC.  Just in time too as the next day they got a huge snow storm!!  Thus concludes November!

December-  Back in New York and on my way for a Stunt job bright and early, all of a sudden, my worst Nightmare is realized.  I blow out a tire on the FDR on my way to work.  I pull off the side of the FDR and try to change the tire only not be able to find my jack.  Call roadside assistance as they cant help if I'm still on the FDR.  Find my jack, remove the bolts, kick the hell out of the tire and it wont budge.  Long story short, I finally got my donut spare tire on, drove 80 miles to set on it and was about 45 min late.  Once I got wrapped I sat in a shop for 3 and a half hours to get everything fixed and drove home.  Gig was fun though doing a fight scene with Nicole in the snow for a new show called Recap.  I head out to the Circus Academy for my Trapeze Showcase.  The theme was 400 Birds and my class picked Pigeons so got to do my trick, which I nailed and thus concludes my semester of Trapeze.  Thank you to Aiden, Chana, Adam and Emily!!  Back up to Walden NY for another day on Recap.  Thankfully no car trouble at all this time.  Another day out in below freezing temperatures with Jamie as the kid does all his own falling and dying.  He was such a pleasure to work with.  Unfortunately a job I was checked for went away which sucks but is part of the business.   I bartend for my 2nd to last shift at Five Boroughs Brewery as the Taproom will be officially closing on Dec 21st.  Peter, Diego and Sam all stop in for a last beer or 2.  Appreciate you guys!!  Next I joined a Pickleball Tournament at PKLYN and was partner with Michael who is an incredible player, way better than me.  Basically its a win and advance style thing and once you get to the top court, you win and you stay.  We made it to the top court and won 3 in a row before we got dethroned.  Lots of fun!!  Also good to see Julie, Naseema, and Beth among several others.  Party time at Dana's as she hosts an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party.  I decorated my actual jerk vest with holiday ornaments and garland and wore that over the top of my ugly sweater for extra flair.  Was so fun hanging and seeing everyone there, Dana, Tanya, Jamie, Polly, Bryce, Taylor, Tu-An, Nick M., Nick C., Vincent and Donnie all made an appearance.  We ate, drank and played games, such good times.  The next day another Ugly Sweater party at Kitty's as I wore my Packers Ugly Sweater print and watched the game at the bar.  Didn't go our way at all but was fun to hang with the old Lock Yard crew.  The time has come for my final shift at Five Boroughs Brewery.  Its been quite the run these past 6 years and the best fit for me and my career a side job has ever been.  Sam stops by for a last beer or two as do the regulars Chris, Russell and Johnathan.  I appreciate all who ever came to see me and those I got to work with on this journey but alas tis the end of my Five Boroughs Brewery Journey.  Off to the airport to fly back home for the holidays.  Quick layover in Nashville, but long enough for a quick beer before Chicago and a bus ride home to Janesville.  The Parentals and my brother Nick all  had to vacate the house with the dogs in tow as there was a showing of the house the next day.  After we killed enough time for them to look at the house, we dropped the dogs back off at the house and then went to breakfast at Milton Family Restaurant.  After breakfast I take the fam out to the brand new Woodmans Sports & Convention Center to teach them all how to play Pickleball.  They picked it up relatively quickly aside from a few rule things.  Also, crazy as here its $10 to drop in and play as long as you want vs NYC where its $40 to drop in for an hour and only if there is space haha.  Next up Tia and her new BF Martin arrive at the house!!  A quick hello and its off to Rotary Gardens to see the Holiday lights!!  Always an impressive sight with a few minor changes each year.  After the lights its dinner at Drafthouse.  Next up we head out for some bowling at RiversEdge Bowl.  I did well but Martin did better, kudos new guy!  After bowling its breakfast at Citrus Cafe where Santa was in the house!!  Finally its off to Duesterbeck's for Trivia Night, which has kind of become a Christmas Family thing now.  This year was not our year though as we finished in 5th place I believe, maybe 4th, not our best work.  Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are here and we spent them in the house, doing puzzles, having dinner, exchanging presents and watching movies by the fire.  Pretty standard but amazing as always. Nick, Tia, Martin and I head over to Woodmans Center for some more Pickleball.  Nick and I wound up winning overall 5 games to 4 but Tia and Martin did make a grand comeback to tie it at 4 games a piece.  We all head over to The Lincoln-Tallman House for their annual Holiday Tree Show setup inside this historical house.  It was our first time there and it was pretty cool to see and all the trees inside were awesome.  We load up the dogs and head out to Milwaukee for the Nowak Christmas but make a quick stop at Ope! Brewery for a beer or two as only Tia and I have been and they are dog friendly.  Lisa, Chris and Cameron once again are the host for this years Nowak Christmas and a wonderful time was had by all.  Especially the Christmas Family Feud that Dan brought and hosted.  So much fun! Nick and Sophie (his dog) leave bright and early the next day to drive back down to Georgia.  The Parentals, Tia, Martin and I meet Emi at Milton Family Restaurant for breakfast.  Was good to see her!  Tia, Martin and I load up the car and say our goodbyes as we drive down to O'Hare to catch our flights back home.  Security was shockingly not busy at all, weird.  We grab some beverages before I board my plane and head back to New York, while they head back to California.  Thus officially ending the very last Christmas we will spend in our childhood home as the new home will be finished in January.  Back home with my boy Marzen to end out the year hanging out.  He hates the New Years Fireworks!
